Please read these terms carefully before using Steyn's App
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Steyn's App, provided by OD-LAN Enterprises. By accessing or using Steyn's App, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our app.
1. User Responsibilities
- Users are responsible for ensuring the security of their devices and preventing unauthorized access to their accounts.
- Users must provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account or making purchases on Steyn's App.
2. Account Creation
By creating an account on Steyn's App, users agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
3. Age Verification
Users must provide their accurate date of birth during account creation, especially if purchasing age-restricted products such as alcohol.
4. Payment and Subscription
Payment and subscription services on Steyn's App are handled through Stripe. All sales are final, but refunds may be issued upon request within 3 days of delivery. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
5. Rewards and Steyn's Cash
Rewards earned through Steyn's App and Steyn's Cash are subject to the following conditions:
- Only one reward OR Steyn's Cash can be applied to each order - they cannot be combined or used together.
- Rewards and Steyn's Cash have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
- Rewards may have expiration dates and usage restrictions as specified at the time of earning.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the rewards program at any time.
- Fraudulent activity related to rewards or Steyn's Cash will result in immediate account termination.
- Refunds for orders using rewards or Steyn's Cash will be processed back to the original payment method only, with no cash value given for the reward portion.
6. Special Offers and Promotions
We may offer special pricing, flash sales, limited-time promotions, and other special offers from time to time. These special offers are subject to the following conditions:
- Special offers may have quantity limits, time restrictions, and other terms that will be clearly specified at the time of the offer.
- Some special offer products may be excluded from free shipping weight calculations, meaning the weight of these items will not count towards qualifying for free shipping thresholds. This exclusion will be clearly indicated during the ordering process.
- Special offers cannot be combined with rewards, Steyn's Cash, or other promotional discounts unless explicitly stated.
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any special offer at any time without prior notice.
- Fraudulent use of special offers will result in order cancellation and may lead to account termination.
7. Shipping Insurance and Liability
All orders shipped through our app are subject to the following insurance and liability terms:
- Standard Coverage: All shipped orders are automatically covered by Australia Post's standard insurance up to AUD $100 of product value at no additional cost.
- Additional Insurance: For orders exceeding $100 in product value, customers may purchase additional insurance coverage during checkout to protect the full value of their order. The cost of additional insurance is calculated at $2.50 per $100 increment above the initial $100 coverage.
- Liability Limitation: If additional insurance is not purchased for orders exceeding $100 in value, our liability for loss, damage, or theft during shipping is limited to the Australia Post standard coverage of $100 only. We are not liable for any amount exceeding this coverage unless additional insurance has been purchased.
- Claims Process: All insurance claims must be reported within 7 days of the expected delivery date. Claims will be processed according to Australia Post's insurance terms and conditions.
- Customer Acknowledgment: By declining additional insurance coverage during checkout, customers acknowledge and accept the risk of loss or damage beyond the $100 standard coverage limit.
8. User Data
User data collected through Steyn's App is stored securely in Firebase systems. Payment information is encrypted for security purposes.
9. Misuse of the App
Users found to be misusing Steyn's App will have their accounts deleted. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, hacking, spamming, and posting offensive content.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend user accounts at our discretion, particularly in cases of misuse or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OD-LAN Enterprises shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our app. This limitation includes, but is not limited to, liability for shipping losses or damages not covered by purchased insurance as outlined in Section 7.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and data on Steyn's App, including software, databases, text, graphics, icons, and hyperlinks, are the property of or licensed to OD-LAN Enterprises.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australian Privacy Act. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.

15. Amendments
